HUDCO celebrates 49th Foundation Day

HUDCO celebrated its 49th foundation day on April 25. HUDCO chairman and managing director Dr M Ravi Kanth highlighted the performance of the organisation over the last financial year.

G.Parthasarthy, president, India Habitat Centre, who was the guest of honour, congratulated the organisation on being a consistently profitable company and successfully delivering the company's mandate. Special publications were also released on the occasion. Awards for outstanding performances were given to various stakeholders, agencies and HUDCO employees.

Artemis Electricals to list on SME platform

The initial public offering of Artemis Electricals Limited (“Artemis” or “AEL”) opened on April 24. The company is offering up to 70,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash in the price band of Rs 55 to Rs 60 per share, aggregating to Rs 3,850 lakh to Rs 4,200 lakh. The shares will be listed on the SME platform of the BSE. AEL is engaged in manufacturing and trading of LED lights and accessories.

Prevent crop fire incidents due to short-circuit, PSPCL staff told

Taking cognisance of crop fire incidents in different parts of the state, PSPCL chief Baldev Singh Sran has directed all chief engineers to instruct all officers under their control to ensure that no incident of crop fire takes place due to electricity short-circuit or sparking due to lack of maintenance. He said strict action will be taken against the JE/SDO in charge of the area concerned if such an incident is reported due to lack of maintenance.
