Kharar, February 25
The Kharar City Police have booked 10 flat owners in Western Towers for not providing information about their tenants to the police.
Rajesh Kumar a resident of Western Towers, in his complainant to the police said that he had requested police verification of various tenants and paying guests in Western Towers. When the police looked into the matter, it was found that many owners had not informed the police about tenants.
A case under Section 188 of the IPC has been registered against Dr Jassowal, Jasdeep Singh, Ashok Kumar, Ahsan Hassan, Bhagwant Singh, Sukhbir Singh, Praveen Kumar, Kamaljit Singh, Sanjeev Handa and Varun Mehta.
According to the police, these owners have violated orders issued by the Mohali Deputy Commissioner in this regard. — OC
