19 arrested for failing to give info on tenants, servants

CHANDIGARH: The UT police have arrested 19 persons for not providing information about tenants and servants to the police.

The UT police have arrested 19 persons for not providing information about tenants and servants to the police.

According to the police, those who have been booked for not informing about the tenants to the police have been identified as Sant Ram, a resident of Madi Wala Town, Nirpal Singh of Mohali, who rented his house in Sector 25, Rajwant Singh of Khuda Ali Sher village, Saurabh, a resident of Sector 21, Manish, a resident of Sector 21 Kastoori Lal Sharma, a resident of Sector 20, Vikramjit Singh, a resident of Sector 27, Abhishta, a resident of Daria village, Pritpal, a resident of Sector 29, Amit Gupta, a resident of Old Ropar Road, Mani Majra, Ramjan, a resident of Shastri Nagar, Satish Kumar and Madan Pal, both residents of Subhash Nagar, Mani Majra, Surinder, a resident of Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran village, and Raj Kumar, a resident of Raipur Khurd.

The police said two persons had also been booked for renting out their establishments to tenants without informing the police. A woman has been booked for renting out a showroom in Sector 9 without informing the police. Similarly, Putu Lal has been booked for renting out his hotel, Jeet Lodge, at Daria village without intimating the police.

Two persons, Makhan Lal, a resident of Kaimbwala village, and Wazid of Khuda Ali Sher, have been booked for hiring employees at their shops without informing the police. The police said cases against all persons were registered. They were arrested and later released on bail. — TNS
