Panchkula, November 5

Mohan Singh Ahluwalia, member, Animal Welfare Board of India, has written to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar regarding a threatening note which he has allegedly received.

He has demanded an FIR in this regard and protection for him and members of his family.

He submitted that in 2012-13, he had carried out an intensive campaign against people who were involved in the adulteration business in Haryana, so the threatening note could be the handiwork of those people.

He alleged that he had submitted a complaint to the Panchkula police, but no action has been taken.
