Chandigarh, August 14

A series of inspirational talks, ‘Cadet Talk’, was inaugurated at Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh, by Col Amitesh Verma, Deputy Group Commander, on Friday.

Cadets dwelled on ‘handling peer pressure’. The ‘Cadet Talk Logo’ and YouTube channel were also launched.

Other schools, including St Kabir Public School, Guru Nanak Public School and Government Model High School, Sector 20, also participated.

Among others present were CO of 1 CHD Air Squadron, Group Captain MR Pandeya, CO of Naval Wing, Capt CV Chikkara, Principal Sister Mary Supreeta and Care Taker Officer Preeti Swami.

The programme ended with the national anthem played by the school band.
