Guhaan Mehta defeated Param Sidana to win the boys’ U-10 title on the concluding day of the Roots Open Tennis Championship, in Zirakpur, here on Sunday.
Sidana was leading 3-1, however Mehta held his nerves to level the scores. Thereafter, Mehta, found his momentum before closing the set in his favour by 6-3. Meanwhile, in the combined U-12 final, Manan Gambhir defeated Tanvi Kohli 6-4 in an easy affair.
