IndiGo is all set to start its Chandigarh-Ahmedabad flight from October 28. According to sources, the flight will take off from the local airport at 6.40 pm and land at its destination at 8.45 pm.

Another airline, GoAir, is already operating two flights from Chandigarh to Ahmedabad.

AirAsia has made an announcement regarding its network expansion by increasing the frequency of flights between Mumbai and New Delhi and will now operate four flights daily.

According to the airline authorities, the increase in the frequency of flights between Mumbai and New Delhi will also enable air passengers to travel to Chandigarh and Srinagar via New Delhi without a change of aircraft.

The new flight operations will commence on October 27 and the fare will start from Rs 1,915, said Sanjay Kumar, COO, AirAsia, India. — TNS
