Karnal register 61-run win over Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH:Karnal Cricket Association defeated Chandigarh Cricket Association by 61 runs in a Haryana Inter-District U-19 Tournament match here today.

Karnal Cricket Association defeated Chandigarh Cricket Association by 61 runs in a Haryana Inter-District U-19 Tournament match here today. 

Electing to bat, Karnal boys were all out for 145 runs in 25 overs. Anmol Daleep scored run a ball 32, while Parmjot made a brisk 31. Porush added 28 runs to the Karnal total. 

Pratham was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 4/30. Prateek took 3/15. 

Needing to score 7.30 runs per over for victory, Chandigarh Cricket Association were bowled out for 84 runs in 19 overs. Abhishek returned with figures of 4/33, while Balram (3/7) and Rudraksh (3/15) took three wickets each.

Naman Bansal (31) was the top scorer for Chandigarh. Pratham made 17 runs. 

On Sunday, Chandigarh Cricket Association will take on Kurukshetra Cricket Association. — TNS
