Officials of the Municipal Corporation today started development works worth Rs40 lakh, including a special park in Phase 1 and the construction of a wall around eateries in Phase 7.

Officials of the Municipal Corporation today started development works worth Rs40 lakh, including a special park in Phase 1 and the construction of a wall around eateries in Phase 7.
The Municipal Corporation will construct a wall around the eateries so that the parking menace faced by residents could be solved permanently.
Sidewalks will be constructed and grills will be installed in a special park at Phase I. New swings will be installed for children and benches for the elderly.
Extension of MC boundaries
Former Health Minister and Mohali MLA Balbir Singh Sidhu and MC officials today met the Director, Local Government, regarding the next phase of extension of boundaries of the Mohali Municipal Corporation. Other issues related to the extension of boundaries of Mohali and taking over the work of the Public Health Department under the Mohali Municipal Corporation were also discussed. —TNS
