The complainant also sent CCTV grabs to the police in which three miscreants are seen escaping after committing theft.

The complainant, Satinder Varma, who is a PGI employee, had gone to Canada to attend his son’s convocation.

The complainant checked the footage of those cameras and found that three miscreants committed the theft in the house between 1.15 am and 2.30 am.

The complainant reported the matter to the police through phone after which police teams visited the house for inspection. The same day, Satinder sent his complaint through an email to the Chandigarh Police. However, the police are yet to register a case at the Sector 11 police station.

Inspector Lakhbir Singh, SHO Sector 11 police station when contacted said that they have received the complaint from Public Window of UT police a day back. “We will investigate in the complaint and then do the needful”, he added.

As per the complainant, silver jewellery, cameras, mobile phones and valuables have been stolen from his house. The exact loss, however, will be known only when the complainant returns.
