Teachers of Jainendra Gurukul, Sector 1, have accused the secretary of the school of molesting them by deliberately touching their bodies with bad intention.

In their complaint to the police, the teachers stated that 10 teachers of the school had accompanied students of Class IX and X to Parliament House in New Delhi on December 18, 2018. They said the secretary, VK Jain, had levelled baseless allegations against the teachers, causing irreparable harm to them. They alleged that Jain had indulged in character assassination of the teachers, who belonged to reputed families, and had termed them defaulters. They alleged that Jain had remarked that the teachers had a candlelight dinner with the school cashier. They said Jain had further stated that the school cashier had sponsored a trip to Jaipur in which teachers, along with their children, had taken part, as they were not able to pay for it.

The teachers alleged that whenever they visited the secretary’s office for work, he used to make them sit in his office unnecessarily. Besides, he threw pen and files at them.

They alleged that whenever they passed by him, he touched them with bad intention. They added that Jain had been harassing them physically and mentally by making sexual advances. They said they had earlier lodged a complaint with the president of the Gurukul committee but in vain.

The police have registered a case under Sections 354, 354A and 509 of the IPC.
