Satluj Public School, Sector 2, Panchkula, celebrated the foundation day. A special assembly was conducted wherein students paid tributes to school founder Late Sardar Pritam Singh Serai for his leadership, integrity, devotion and generosity. The school remembered him as one of the pioneers in establishing educational institute with the ‘Live with Effort’ motto.

Gian Jyoti Global, Mohali

Arnav Gupta, Chehakpreet Singh, Abhay Shukla , Vaibhav Sharma, Harkirat Singh, Kartik, Sahil Thakur, Japneet Singh, Sahil Sharma and Sahran Sofi have been selected for interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020’. School Principal Gian Jyot congratulated the students, along with their parents, for getting the opportunity. Principal Director Ranjeet Bedi told the students about interacting methodology and public communication.

St Soldier, Mohali

Students of Class IX presented a morning assembly depicting the ‘Future of the Earth’. The young minds showcased the factors responsible for the planet’s misery. They depicted the depletion of ozone layer and groundwater, thereby causing health hazards. Students made everyone take a pledge to protect the mother nature.

St Joseph’s, Chandigarh

Students of St Joseph’s School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, participated in elocution, essay-writing and slogan-writing competition organised by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute Of Youth Development (RGNIYD). Students brought laurels to the institute by participating in elocution on ‘Role of Youth in Global Peace’. Shreya Chawla of Class XI bagged the first prize and Jayant Sharma of Class XI won the third prize. In the essay writing competition, Ramandeep Singh Sidhu of Class XI won the first prize for topic ‘Channeling Youth Power towards Nation Building’. Sargam Ghai received the third prize in slogan writing on ‘Yuva evam Ranjniti’. TNS
