TEDx event at GGDSD College

GGDSG College, Sector 32, Chandigarh, will organise TEDx event on August 18. TEDx and GGDSD will feature a myriad of powerful speakers for its 4th edition. Adarsh Nataranjan, Varun Mitra, Gary Hambleton, Tahira Kashyap, Govind Krsna Das, Japneet Keith, Zaheer Adenwala, Puneet Tandon and a surprise speaker, who is yet to be revealed, will be a part of the event. The theme of the conference is “Connecting perspectives”.

Investiture ceremony

Delhi Public World School, Zirapur, held its annual investiture ceremony on Tuesday. Three prefects from each house were elected as office-bearers, namely, the house captain, prefect sports and discipline and prefect cultural activities. The event began on a solemn note wherein the prefects were apprised of their role and responsibility and advised that they must reach out to all children with compassion.

Programme for foreign delegates

A six-week management development programme (MDP) on industrial automation for foreign delegates under the Indian Technical and Economic Co-operation scheme commenced at the Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC) here. The programme is sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs as part of the Special Commonwealth African Assistance Programme (SCAAP). The programme aims at imparting specialised training to 15 foreign delegates from 10 different countries. — TNS
