CHANDIGARH: Thieves struck at two shops in Sector 41 and a house in Mauli Jagran.

Thieves struck at two shops in Sector 41 and a house in Mauli Jagran.

According to the police, complainant Sunil Sharma reported that someone had stolen two laptops, Rs 20,000 in cash and some documents from his shop, SCO No. 28, in Sector 41. Sharma complained that the thieves also managed to steal Rs 4,000 in cash and a tab from shop no 27, which is owned by Vikram Prashar, in Sector 41. The theft was reported on the intervening night of July 15 and 16. A case has been registered.

A theft incident was also reported at a house in Mauli Jagran on July 16. According to the police, thieves managed to decamp with gold ornaments and an ATM card. The police were informed about the incident, following which a case has been registered at the Mauli Jagran police station.
