CHANDIGARH: Two incidents of eve-teasing and stalking have been reported from the city.

Two incidents of eve-teasing and stalking have been reported from the city.

Three unidentified motorcycle-borne miscreants have been booked by the Chandigarh Police for teasing and stalking a girl.

According to the police, the victim, a resident of Panchkula, reported that the accused, who were triple-riding on a motorcycle, followed her on the road from Kalagram towards the Railway light point and teased her.

The accused then escaped from the spot. The police were informed about the incident following which a case under Sections 294 (obscene acts and songs) and 354-D (stalking) of the IPC was registered against the accused at the Mani Majra police station.

In another case, the victim alleged that Rajan, a resident of the Sector 25 colony, teased and stalked her near her house. A case has been registered against the accused at the Sector 11 police station.
