Cultural performances marked the annual day celebrations at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School where the students enthralled everyone present on the occasion.

Ajaib Singh Bhatti, Deputy Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, presided over the event as the chief guest while Amanpreet Singh, managing director, Khalsa Aid (Asia Pacific Zone), was the guest of honour.

The lighting of the ceremonial lamp was done by the chief guest and other dignitaries present on the occasion. The event started with the recitation of shabad gaan by the students of the school followed by the ‘Saraswati Vandana’.

Bhangra performances, yoga postures and other dance performances left everyone spellbound. Gatka and the environment awareness act, ‘Say no to plastic’, also got a loud applause from the audience.

Jatinder Kaur, principal of the school, read out the annual report highlightthe school.
