Cross-FIRs filed in scuffle over dumping carcasses

BATHINDA: Cross-FIRs have been registered in connection with a scuffle over dumping of carcasses at Behman Diwana village in the city.

Cross-FIRs have been registered in connection with a scuffle over dumping of carcasses at Behman Diwana village in the city. 

The first complaint was lodged by Sukhpal Singh, a resident of Behman Diwana village, in which he told the police that Manpreet Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Prithpal Singh, Pardeep Singh, Sandeep Singh and Gurmail Singh, all residents of the same village, had beaten  him up and his associates. 

On his complaint, a case under Sections 341, 323 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused at the Sadar police station.

In the counter-complaint, Gurwinder Singh told the police that Dharamjinder Singh, Soma Singh and Amanpreet Singh had beaten them up.
