Malout girls to take part in Pune games

Two students from Dasmesh Girls College at Badal village in Malout have been selected for Khelo India Youth Games 2019, which will be held in Pune from January 16 to 20 next year.

In the 62nd Khelo India Shooting Championship, Sweta Devi will participate in 10-mtr Air Pistol Junior Women (individual) event and Pardeep Kaur will be a team participant in the 10-mtr Air Pistol event.

Sweta Devi had been a part of the national squad for two years now and been a part of the Junior World Cup held in Germany. Similarly, Pardeep Kaur had secured the ninth position in Khelo India Youth Games held in 2017-18.
