Punjabi University, Patiala, has decided to start a new course — MBA (Agri-Business) — at the University School of Business Studies, Regional Centre, Talwandi Sabo, from this academic session.
Graduates can take admission to this course.
The students, who had an agriculture subject during their graduation, will get 10 per cent weightage over others.
Addressing mediapersons at Punjabi University’s Regional Centre, Dr GS Batra, Dean (Academic Affairs), said the university was committed to provide higher education in rural areas of Punjab.
He also thanked Vice-Chancellor Dr BS Ghuman for starting new courses.
