To show respect for the Mother Earth and sensitise the young generation about the importance of caring for the planet, the MCM DAV College for Women organised a havan here today.

Organised under the aegis of the Swachhata Committee (Arts) and the Sanskrit Department, the havan witnessed enthusiastic participation of the staff and students.

With chanting of hymns, students invoked the Almighty to heal the planet. A plantation drive was also carried out on the occasion as a reaffirmation of MCM’s commitment to work for a better environment.
