Chandigarh, July 11

A delegation of the UT Subordinate Services Federation has submitted a charter of their demands to MP Kirron Kher here on Wednesday.

The delegation demanded regularisation of the services of contractual employees and an end to the outsourcing system.

The delegation said recently, the Punjab Government had regularised the services of its employees and the UT Administration should follow the suit.

They also demanded that jobs should be given to the family members of the employees, including sanitation workers, who died in harness. The delegation said there were a number of cases where the deceased’s family members were facing financial hardships. — TNS
