Vijay Bansal, who was seeking the Congress ticket from Kalka, today urged his supporters to give their 100 per cent to make party candidate Pradeep Chaudhary victorious. Both leaders met at the former’s residence.

“I am a true leader of the Congress. The party is like a mother to me. I was unhappy with the party’s ticket distribution as I have been working at the ground level for years. I have given 37 years of my life to the party,” he said, while addressing a press conference.

“We will do whatever is possible to help Pradeep Chaudhary with from the Kalka seat,” he said.

“The Congress is raking up issues of people and will continue to do so. The malign campaign by the opposition parties is nothing but an attempt to weaken the party. Every Congress worker respects the party’s decision. The Congress will form the next government in Haryana,” the Congress leader stated.

His son and NSUI leader Deepanshu Bansal said: “We will not leave any stone unturned for the victory of Congress candidate from Kalka.”

Bansal, prior to Pradeep Chaudhary switching over from the INLD to the Congress, was considered to be a frontrunner for the Congress ticket from Kalka.

Bansal, a close associate of Randeep Surjewala, communication in-charge of the Congress, is also campaigning for him in Kaithal.
