Lakshveer smashed a 35-ball 71 to help Gurukul School, Panchkula, register a 58-run win over Saupin’s School, Panchkula, in a 10th Wing Commander SS Gyani Memorial Cricket Tournament match at St Soldier’s School.
Opting to bat, Gurukul rode on Lakshveer’s innings to score 192/7 in 25 overs. Shriyansh made a 48-ball 46, while Arav chipped in with 25 runs.
Ishaan claimed three wickets for Saupin’s School, while Pushkar took two wickets.
In reply, Saupin’s boys were all out for 134 runs in 18.5 overs. Tanish, Sushim and Lakshveer claimed two wickets each for Gurukul School. Arsh (25) was the top scorer for Saupin’s School.
