Language refresher course ends

CHANDIGARH:The two-week refresher course for language teachers, organised by the UGC-Human Resource Development Centre (UGC-HRDC) and Department of Hindi, on ‘Challenges of Reclaiming Folk in Literature’ concluded today.

The two-week refresher course for language teachers, organised by the UGC-Human Resource Development Centre (UGC-HRDC) and Department of Hindi, on ‘Challenges of Reclaiming Folk in Literature’ concluded today. 

The chief guest at the closing ceremony was Prof Rajbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Addressing the participants, he said language teachers had an important role to play in the era of communication, provided they update their knowledge as per the needs of the times. — TNS
