Chandigarh, August 11

H Manganleiba Meitei of Manipur claimed the gold medal in the 44kg category in the boys’ junior competition in the ongoing 7th Thang-Ta Federation Cup here on Saturday. Sibu Dutta bagged the silver. 

In the 48kg category, Langonba Oinam won the gold medal, while Papi Sarkar claimed the silver. Gagandeep bagged the bronze medal. 

M Lamnganba Singh, Y Umakanta Singh and Tajmul Yaseen claimed the top-three positions, respectively, in the 52kg category, while in the 56kg category, N Luhenba Meitei pipped Hanana Iqbal to claim the gold medal. 

Rajesh Singh finished on top in the 60kg category. He was followed by Rohit Kumar in second place, while Kuldeep Godara bagged the third position. — TNS
