Saint Soldier Int’l School

Students of Class VI-C of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28(B), Chandigarh, took part in an event organised on Dasehra to propagate the message of victory of good over evil.

Students of Class VI-C of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28(B), Chandigarh, took part in an event organised on Dasehra to propagate the message of victory of good over evil. They enacted many scenes of Ramayana. Somya, Prince, Sehaj, Tanu and Khushpreet played the characters of Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Hanuman, Sita and Ravana, respectively. The stage was beautifully decorated with posters, flowers and frills. 

St Xavier’s High School 

Dasehra was celebrated with great fervour at the junior wing of St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula. There was an atmosphere of joy and happiness during the celebrations. A special morning assembly was organsied to explain the significance of the day as it marks the victory of good over evil. At the same time, they were told that the path of evil only leads to misfortunes. An effigy of Ravana was also burnt on the occasion.

Ryan International School

Class V students of Ryan International School, Chandigarh, visited Le Corbusier Centre. The museum is dedicated to French architect Le Corbusier, who designed City Beautiful. The students witnessed the eminent architect’s creations and got a taste of the city’s heritage. They also met the director of the centre who showed them the correspondence letters between Le Corbusier and Jawaharlal Nehru. The students found the trip informative.

CRB Public School 

Students of CRB Public School, Sector 7B, Chandigarh, celebrated Dasehra with great enthusiasm. Students of the kindergarten coloured worksheets and crafted masks of Ravana. Children dressed as Lord Rama, Sita and Hanuman. Students of Classes VI and VII enacted scenes from the Ramayana depicting the victory of good over evil. Speech, drawing and recitation competitions were held on the occasion.

Ashmah International School 

Students of Ashmah International School, Sector 70, Mohali, celebrated Dasehra with great enthusiasm. The whole campus was decked up with flowers, buntings and colorful lights. The celebrations began by explaining the significance of the festival. Students enacted various scenes of Ramayana depicting the victory of good over evil.
