KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA: Panchkula: Sports Day of Satluj Public School, senior wing, Sector 4, Panchkula, was organised with enthusiasm.



Panchkula: Sports Day of Satluj Public School, senior wing, Sector 4, Panchkula, was organised with enthusiasm. The programme started with a classical invocation followed by the unfurling of the national flag by Krit Serai, Principal of the school. House march past was well-appreciated. The Principal declared the meet open. A cultural programme consisting group songs and dance and PT Drill consisting of middle section students were presented. Various track events were held. Winners were awarded the golden/silver/bronze medals from school Adviser Madhurima Serai. Trophies were given to the best athlete and house. Participation certificates were given to all.

KB DAV

Chandigarh: A blood donation camp was organised at KB DAV School with an overwhelming response parents, teachers and Class IV employees of the school who came forward in large numbers to donate blood. The school registered 210 parents for the noble cause. Both teaching and non-teaching staff donated blood for the noble deed and 106 units were collected.

Saupin’s School

Panchkula: Saupin’s School, Panchkula, conducted an inter-house quiz for Classes I to V. First round was ‘General Knowledge’, second was ‘Unscramble the words’ and third round was ‘Who am I’. Students of four houses participated in the quiz with enthusiasm and competitive spirit. Maple House emerged as the winning team followed by Sycamore House and Clover House. Students were exuberant after winning the quiz.

AKSIPS-65

Mohali: The staff of the AKSIPS-65 Smart School distributed aloe saplings among parents under 'Conserve My Plant' theme. The initiative was to involve parents in the programme — ‘Lend a hand to save trees’. Parents were glad to receive the saplings as souvenirs and promised to be the partners in the initiative.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector 29

Chandigarh: Different competitions were organised at the school campus to bring out the hidden talent of students. A ‘mehandi’ competition was held in the school for the primary section. Principal Meenakshi Gupta praised the students for participation in co-curricular activities, along with studies.

PML SD Public

Chandigarh: Students of PML SD Public School, Sector 19-C, undertook a cleanliness drive. Students cleaned their classes. They were encouraged to put waste in appropriate bins so that they develop a habit of disposing of waste properly. Students also learnt to take care of the school property. Students were told about biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste and waste segregation.

AKSIPS-125

Kharar: An education meet was held for pre-primary teachers at AKSIPS-125 where the staff from AKSIPS branches met to discuss balance in the development of an individual child through learning experiences in school and the community. A review of syllabus was done to enhance the active learning and focus was given to lighten the weight of school bags.

AKSIPS-45

Chandigarh: An inter-branch skating competition was held at AKSIPS-45 Smart School wherein all branches of the AKSIPS Group participated. AKSIPS-45 won the first position. Overall trophy was also bagged by AKSIPS-45. Director Principal Jasmine Kalra rewarded the winners.

DAV Police Public

Panchkula: Yuvsatta, an NGO, felicitated Vandana Tripathi, Principal of the school, for initiating a drive for supporting the noble cause. The drive aimed at educating the young hearts about the joy of sharing. The drive received an overwhelming response and gathered much-needed woollens for the inmates of the border areas in Kashmir region.
