sex racket: 4 get judicial custody

Jalandhar: The police on Monday arrested four persons under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act for allegedly running sex racket at a spa. All accused were produced in a court on Tuesday, which sent them to judicial custody. Rama Mandi SHO Sullakhan Singh said the accused were identified as Surinder Kumar, Shivam Kumar, Balveer Kumar  and Deepak Puri. 2 Miscreants  damage cars 

Phagwara: Two unidentified motorcycle-borne miscreants damaged three cars parked in the Professor Colony here on Monday night. Gopal Dass, Nipun and Dharam Paul, owners of the vehicles, told the police on Tuesday that they saw their CCTV camera footage this morning and saw the suspects damaging the cars late on Monday night. Man held with intoxicants

Phagwara: The police have arrested a drug peddler, identified as Sahil Parvesh, and seized 10 intoxicant injections from his possession on Monday night. A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against him. OC

Phagwara: Staff and students of MLU DAV College, here, observed ‘National Pollution Control Day’ on the college premises on Tuesday. A seminar was organised to mark the occasion in which students spoke on effects of pollution. They also prepared charts on the topic. OC
