Mohali: Five more fatalities were witnessed in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the Covid toll to 992. Meanwhile, 74 fresh cases surfaced, pushing the tally to 67,368. As many as 221 patients got the better of the disease. Among the new cases, 11 came from Mohali (urban), three each from Boothgarh and Gharuan, seven from Lalru, 13 from Dera Bassi, 17 from Dhakoli and 20 from Kharar. So far, 64,945 patients have been cured in the district. There are 1,431 active cases. — TNS
