Apoorva Shukla Tiwari (35), convict in the murder of Rohit Shekhar Tiwari (40) told the Crime Branch during interrogation that she killed Rohit in spur of the moment. As she got angry seeing other woman drinking liquor with her husband.
Apoorva has been arrested from her house in Defence Colony and is on police remand for two days.
On the day of the murder of Rohit, he was returning from Uttarakhand. Apoorva made a video call to him. She saw another woman with Rohit having drinks in the car. From that moment she started fighting with Rohit. However, on property issue she was having indifferences with Rohit for a long time.
According to Crime Branch official, ND Tiwari has left property worth in crore of rupees in Delhi, which now will shared with Rohit's stepbrother Sidharth and Rajeev who is also a relative of Ujjwala Sharma and has been with ND Tiwari when he was alive.
Around 12.15 in the night, Apoorva goes to Rohit's room and had a quarrel over Rohit's having liquor with other woman. During which Apoorva lost her temper and killed Rohit by smothering and strangling him.
