Mysterious death of Rohit Shekhar Tiwari seems to be getting complicated as after 60 hours of the murder, police is not able to pin down the accused.

After the post-mortem report, the police are suspecting Rohit’s near ones. On Saturday, police questioned his wife, brother-in-law and servants.

On Friday, the Crime Branch reached Rohit’s house and grabbed the CCTV camera footage and searched his house. They are questioning his mother Ujjwala, wife Apoorva, his father-in-law and brother-in-law Sidharth. Meanwhile, Rohit’s remains were submersed at Sati Ghat in Haridwar yesterday. But the bigger question remains unsolved as who killed Rohit and for what?

The car in which Rohit was taken to hospital by his wife is being searched by the forensic team at his house in Defence Colony. Before Apoorva could take him to Max Hospital, ambulance of the hospital had arrived and he was shifted in the ambulance from the car. His mother and wife were along with Rohit when he died.

Details of Rohit’s phone calls are being searched. Police is questioning Apoorva if their marriage was smooth. And investigating the phone details of his mother and details of house maids are being verified.

The post-mortem report of Rohit tells that the death occurred in mysterious circumstances. He died unnatural death. According to a crime branch official, Rohit was neither under the influence of drugs nor had consumed any medicine. He died of asphyxia due to strangulation.

Two of the CCTV cameras in his house were not functional. Police is investigating whether the cameras intentionally corrupted.

While Rohit collapsed, his servants saw him bleeding from the nose after which they informed his mother Ujjwala on phone. As Ujjwala was in hospital and was getting her check-up done, she hired Max Hospital ambulance and reached home to take Rohit to hospital. But, according to doctors, he was already dead when he was brought to the hospital.

Ujjwala said 2018 he got married to Apoorva. And before Uttarakhand Assembly elections, he had taken BJP membership.
