Chandigarh, June 10

School Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla today took a swipe at the Kejriwal government over the Performance Grading Index (PGI), released recently by the Union HRD Ministry, saying the Delhi Government should learn from Punjab on how to efficiently implement school education.

The minister alleged the Kejriwal government had wasted the taxpayers’ money on advertising campaigns instead of investing the capital on school infrastructure.

During a virtual programme to congratulate teachers and staff of the School Education Department for making the state No. 1 in the country in the field of school education, Singla said the department would continue with its efforts to improve the performance to achieve 100 per cent marks next year.

Singla said the department had utilised 100 per cent funds in a transparent manner by using reverse bidding process on GeM portal.
