Karan roped-in as lead in Thoda Sa Baadal, Thoda Sa Paani

Colors’ new show Thoda Sa Baadal, Thoda Sa Paani highlights the journey of a strong, independent woman through the protagonist Kajol (played by Ishita Dutta). While there has been much excitement about her character, the show will now introduce the lead character named Anurag Basu. The character of Anurag will be played by Karan Suchak. Anurag is a cardiologist by profession, but when it comes to matters of his heart, his relationship with his mother has strained his outlook towards women. While the character is yet to be unveiled on the show, Karan is quite confident that Anurag Basu will be loved by everyone.

Karan Suchak says, “It feels great to be on the sets; it’s been more than 500 days since I’ve been on a full-blown set due to the pandemic. Although there were offers coming in, I wanted to associate with the right kind of work and channel. I’m excited to portray Anurag Basu’s character in the show. Looking forward to giving my 100 per cent and am thrilled to re-connect with the audience.”
