Family Business Succession Management Programme

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), an acknowledged national resource Institute for Entrepreneurship Education, Research, Training and Institution Building, will conduct an exclusive short-term Family Business Succession Management Programme from March 21-25, 2020.

The five-day programme, exclusively designed for the next generation members of the business-owning families as well as second/third generation young leaders, will provide valuable inputs to design specific action plans to effectively manage issues of succession in family business, thus bringing about a renewed perspective to visualise the enterprise. The programme will include lectures, case study, discussions, group activities, situation analysis, brainstorming sessions and interaction with speakers from ‘family business fraternity’.

AI and Emerging Technologies Programme

The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, has announced the second cohort of Professional Certification Programme in Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies for college students and young professionals in association with TalentSprint. The hybrid programme will be for six months and will include a five-week bootcamp at IIT Hyderabad with residential option. The program will cover AI, IoT, Blockchain, Quantum Computing and other emerging technologies.

The first cohort conducted in 2019 was highly successful with 115 participants from 45 colleges across 16 locations in India and the industry acknowledged their expertise with premium salary vis-a-vis average entry level salaries.

Fee: Rs2 lakh.

Commencing from March 14, 2020.

Applications are invited from college students across India and the selection is through an online test.

BEng Computer & Electronic Systems

The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is inviting applications for BEng Computer & Electronic Systems course starting in September 2020.

This is one of the few UK degrees with triple accreditation from the Institution of Engineering and Technology, British Computer Society and the Science Council.

The course is run jointly by the departments of Electronic & Electrical Engineering and Computer & Information Sciences.

Fee: international student’s fee for 2020/21 is £20,900 .

Eligibility: 70-75% in all subjects taken at level XII and the same at level X. Marks should be particularly strong in the proposed area of study. IELTS requirement is 6.5.
