Cong protests against Centre begin today

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) has decided to resume agitations from tomorrow against the BJP-led Centre’s economic policies.

The Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) has decided to resume agitations from tomorrow against the BJP-led Centre’s economic policies. The agitations, highlighting unemployment and economic recession, would be carried out at district headquarters and would continue till November 24. The memorandums will be submitted to the President through DCs.

HPCC general secretary Ajay Chaudhary said president Kumari Selja would lead the protests tomorrow in Gurugram, on November 19 in Ambala, on November 22 in Faridabad and on November 23 in Kurukshetra. A state-level protest would be held in Rewari on November 24.

On November 19, there would be protests at district headquarters in Hisar and Charkhi Dadri, while on November 21 Panchkula and Bhiwani would be covered. There would be protests in Jind and Yamunanagar on November 22, while the next day Kaithal would be covered. Earlier, the party had carried out protests in Fatehabad, Panipat, Sirsa, Karnal, Mahendragarh and Nuh from November 7-9. — TNS
