Ambala, September 3
A 17-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped by her cousin in Sardehri village of Mullana. The accused has been identified as Ravinder Kumar. The girl was allegedly raped in April by the accused when she was alone at home. The victim is reportedly pregnant. The girl informed her mother about the incident on Sunday. The matter was reported to the Mullana police on Monday.
On the statement of victim, the police have registered a case under the POCSO Act and the accused is yet to be arrested.
The Mullana SHO said the medical examination of the minor was being conducted and investigation was on. — TNS
