With 25 deaths and 1,188 fresh Covid cases having been reported in the past 24 hours, the Covid tally has climbed to 1.32 lakh.

Of the deaths reported, Hisar, Panchkula and Jind topped the chart with four deaths each, Sirsa and Yamunanagar (three each), Ambala and Rohtak (two each) and Gurugram, Rewari and Panipat (one each).

A 42-year-old man from Baniyawad in Ballabgarh also died on Saturday.

The two persons who died in Ambala City had comorbidities.

In the district-wise break-up, Gurugram reported the maximum number of cases at 277, followed by Faridabad (134), Hisar (116), Panchkula (70), Rewari (61), Rohtak (58) and Sonipat (55).

Meanwhile, 1,542 patients recovered from the deadly virus in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered cases to 1.18 lakh. Over 250 patients are on oxygen support and 40 on ventilators.
