A 40-year-old migrant worker committed suicide in his room in Gandhi Nagar. A suicide recovered from his room said he was ending his life as his landlord was continuously harassing him to pay rent and he had no money to do so.
The police said Madhusudan of Odisha consumed a poisonous substance to end his life and his landlord has been booked for abetment to suicide under Section 306 on the basis of a note found in his room.
