Haryana Assembly’s Monsoon Session to begin from September 7

NEW DELHI: Haryana Cabinet met here on Friday evening and fixed September 7 as a revised date for commencement of the Assembly’s Monsoon Session. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister ML Khattar.

Haryana Cabinet met here on Friday evening and fixed September 7 as a revised date for commencement of the Assembly’s Monsoon Session. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister ML Khattar.

The session was to start from today, but was shelved due to demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

A resolution condoling the passing of the former prime minister was passed. It also paid rich tributes to him for his selfless service to the nation. It expressed its commisseration to the bereaved family.

The Cabinet observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect and homage to the leader.
