Kulgam martyr cremated



Rewari, January 29

Deepak Kumar (37) of 24 Rashtriya Rifle was cremated at his native Juddi village under the Kosli subdivision with full military honours. People from all walks of lives attended the last rites to pay tribute to the brave soldier. Cooperative Minister Banwari Lal was among those prominent persons present on the occasion.

Deepak sacrificed his life in an IED explosion triggered by militants in the Kulgam region of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. His mortal remains were brought to the village in the morning. He is survived by mother, wife and a 10-year-old son. — TNS
