The BJP organised a show of strength ahead of the filing of nomination papers by party’s candidate from Sirsa (reserved) Sunita Duggal on Friday.
Senior party leaders, including state BJP president Subhash Barala, Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma, Krishan Lal Panwar, Karan Dev Kamboj, Krishan Bedi and Rajya Sabha member DP Vats, and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders accompanied Duggal to the election officer in Sirsa. The BJP candidate held a roadshow in the town before filing her nomination.
She had unsuccessfully contested the 2014 Assembly elections on the BJP ticket from Ratia (reserved) in Fatehabad.
