Solan, August 31

A 13-year-old girl allegedly delivered a baby at a private hospital and abandoned it near a UCO bank on the Sai Road on late Thursday evening.

Police said that the minor was a migrant and was allegedly raped by her relative a few months back.

The police, when informed about the abandoned baby by some passersby, took the baby to the CHC, Baddi, where the girl had delivered the baby.

Since the condition of both the baby and the minor girl was critical they have been referred to Chandigarh for further treatment.
