25 doctors booked for assault

KANGRA: At least 25 medical students of Dr Rajendra Prasad Govt Medical College, Tanda, were booked for assaulting and threatening a resident of Borhbala at his house following an incident of a road rage, the police said here on Sunday.

At least 25 medical students of Dr Rajendra Prasad Govt Medical College, Tanda, were booked for assaulting and threatening a resident of Borhbala at his house following an incident of a road rage, the police said here on Sunday.

SHO, Kangra police station, Kuldeep Raj said Paramjeet Singh lodged a complaint with the police last evening that a postgraduation student of DRPGMC, Tanda, Dr Raj Kumar had allegedly rammed his car into his vehicle and an altercation ensued when Paramjeet Singh told him to drive cautiously. Paramjeet in his complaint said the accused called some other medical students and 25 of them assaulted and threatened him in his house and created a ruckus.

A case under has been registered against Dr Raj Kumar and 24 other students. No arrests have been made as yet.— OC
