Cong MLAs walk out of House over allotment of land to Baba Ramdev

DHARAMSALA: Pandemonium prevailed in the House right at the start of the six-day Winter Session of the Himachal Assembly, as the Congress raised the issue of allotment of land to Baba Ramdev.

Congress MLAs on Monday staged a walkout from the House over allotment of land to yoga guru Baba Ramdev. 

Pandemonium prevailed in the House right at the start of the six-day Winter Session of the Assembly, as the Congress raised the issue of allotment of land to Baba Ramdev.

CLP leader Mukesh Agnihotri alleged that land worth Rs 100 crore has been given virtually free of cost to Baba Ramdev.

The BJP legislators alleged that the Congress had allotted land to Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim for his ashram near Palampur.

The Congress MLAs continued to raise slogans as Speaker Rajiv Bindal tried to conduct the Question Hour. They also entered the Well of the House, raising slogans.
