Heavy rains in Dharamsala on Friday morning triggered a massive landslide on Khara-Danda road to Mcleodganj.

The landslide was caused due to unscientific cutting of hills and illegal dumping of muck in the area.

Last year, also, many houses were damaged as illegally dumped muck had flowed into the houses on Mcleodganj road.

The muck was dumped in streams by those carrying out construction in the area.
