Mandi, December 16
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today virtually inaugurated the branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) at Thunag in the Seraj Assembly segment of Mandi district.
He said this was the 325th branch of the SBI in the state. The branch would also have an ATM with deposit as well as withdrawal facilities.
“With the opening of the SBI branch at Thunag, a long-pending demand of the Seraj area has been fulfilled. The branch will not only facilitate employees, pensioners and local people, but will also benefit the business community of the area,” he said. — TNS
