Chamba, June 15
The Forest Department and the NHAI are planning to plant saplings of medicinal herbs, multi-coloured varieties of flowers and chinar along both sides of the highway from Katori Bungalow to Bharmour. For this, the department and the NHAI will jointly carry out a massive plantation campaign from July.
Besides, basic facilities will also be raised at Devi Dehra, Parihar, Kandu and Kuranh Panihar halt points. In Bharmour, deodars and other species will be planted. — OC
