Rotarians take out peace march

Kangra: The Rotary Club, Shahpur, on Friday celebrated International Day of Peace. Members took out a peace march from the PWD rest house to Industrial Training Institute.

The Rotary Club, Shahpur, on Friday celebrated International Day of Peace. Members took out a peace march from the PWD rest house to Industrial Training Institute.

President of the club  BS Pathania  said the International Day of Peace was a sanctioned holiday observed annually on  September 21. 

He said the day was dedicated to world peace. As many as 50 students of Dronacharya College, Rait, participated in the march. 

They were told that they should practise yoga. 

Dr Kant also talked about a healthy and happy life. More than 100 Rotarians and locals were present.
