Woman ends life, husband arrested

NURPUR:A 27-year-old married woman, identified as Babli Devi (27), allegedly committed suicide on Saturday evening.

A 27-year-old married woman, identified as Babli Devi (27), allegedly committed suicide on Saturday evening.

Following the complaint of the deceased’s father, Baryam Singh, a case under Sections 498(A), 306 and 34 of the IPC has been registered against her husband Ajay Singh and sisters-in-law Shukla Devi and Rajni Devi. 

DSP Sahil Arora said after preliminary investigations, Ajay was arrested on Sunday. The body was handed over to her family after a post-mortem examination at the Tanda medical college.
