AAP activists join Cong in Phillaur

PHILLAUR: In a shot in the arm, the Congress got more strength when hundreds of activists of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced to join the Congress in the presence of Congress MP Santokh Singh and PPCC General Secretary Vikram Chaudhary on Monday.

Phillaur, August 14

In a shot in the arm, the Congress got more strength when hundreds of activists of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced to join the Congress in the presence of Congress MP Santokh Singh and PPCC General Secretary Vikram Chaudhary on Monday.

Santokh Singh and Vikram Chaudhary welcomed the entry of AAP activists into the Congress fold.

The AAP leaders, iin their address expressed faith in the progressive and secular policies of the Congress.—OC
